As of today, I am no longer working at the library. They were unwilling to work with my schedule to let me participate in a research study for a month, so I quit.
I'm very sad that I will not be around all those books all the time. I will probably reapply, but due to crazy politics (and the fact that certain higher ups don't like me much for some reason), I may not be hired back.
What sucks most (besides not getting to see all the cool people I loved working with)? I'm going to have to pay a non-resident fee for my card. :(
