$250 Barnes & Noble gift card!

I participated in a program at my university and my compensation was a $250 Barnes & Noble gift card. I'm SUPER EXCITED about it! Oh, what can I buy, what can I buy? *laughs*

I got it today and went to drop off my application at B&N after my meetings. I, of course, had to get something. So I got the next two books in the Jane True series by Nicole Peeler. YAY!!

I think I'm kind of a geek to be this excited about a gift card... *wanders off to dream about what to buy*

I think I need this shirt...

Love it!!!

Bibliophibian Shirt

It says:

You've got too many books. They crowd the shelves two or three deep, sideways or stacked any way they'll fit; they pile on tables waiting to be read, re-read, or simply kept forever. It's gotten to the point where they've started to multiply when you're not watching -- there's definitely more today than yesterday. And it'll keep on like this, until there's nothing at all left but books, books, and more books. How glorious.

Others don't understand, but you -- you breathe the stuff. You inhale paper and exhale ink; you live between pages, and your habitat is the written word. For you are a bibliophibian.

Sadness all around...

I have not been reading much. Homework has consumed my life. It makes me feel very sad...and honestly, a lot stressed!

Spring break is less than a week. I'm going to have some time to read then (I hope!). I look forward to it. I miss reading more.

I have been working on the same three books for over a week (and longer for some of them!).

*sighs*

I miss not being in school, when I could read as much as I wanted! Someday...

Finished a notebook!

In case you didn't know, in addition to keeping track of the books I've read on here and on goodreads.com, I also write them in a little notebook.

Yesterday (well, technically on 2/13/11), I filled in the last page of my little notebook. Yay! I started on 3/10/09 in this notebook with Just in Case: A Trickster Tale and Spanish Alphabet Book by Yuyi Morales and finished it with Sophie Simon Solves Them All by Lisa Graff & Jason Beene on 2/13/11. :)
